Horizon Apartment
Brad Swartz Architects
2025

On the 34th floor of Sydney’s Horizon Tower, Brad Swartz Architects reimagined the interior landscape of two previously combined apartments into a seamless home. A layering of material palettes subtly shift from zone to zone, presenting a calm, comforting backdrop to the expansive harbour views.
Stone surfaces bring a cool solidity, while spotted gum floors, wall cladding and joinery introduce warmth and texture. Within this setting, the integration of power becomes a defining detail. ZETR outlets and switches in CARBON are carried through the home.
In timber floors, joinery and wall cladding, ZETR 13 / FLUSH with Carbon Natural Brass faceplates dissolve into the architecture. Their muted carbon finish catches light against timber, adding depth without distraction. Designed to be touched as much as seen, they bring utility into harmony with materiality.
Shortlisted in the 2025 House Awards, Horizon Apartment holds its place in Sydney’s skyline, where each decision is deliberate and every detail aligned.
