Terrazzo Palazzo

Residential
2025

Terrazzo Palazzo by Tali Roth is a confident remix of mid-century bones and modern attitude. Set in Melbourne’s Toorak, the 1969 home—originally designed by Czech architect Robert Rosch—gets a bold, personal update that’s anything but nostalgic.
Roth leans into contrast: deep purple velvet curtains meet raw terrazzo, while Venetian plaster walls shift from cool to saturated as you move through the space. Each level builds in intensity—starting calm, ending in rich, moody tones upstairs.
Vintage finds are reimagined: a Bombole sofa reupholstered in purple, a mushroom chair turned blue, and a jigsawed terrazzo floor that mimics the original but hits harder.
